Writing Prompt...The Anniversary

"Be careful out there," your mom said as you grabbed your duffel bag and headed on a camping trip with friends. "You know that tonight is the anniversary, don't you?" You nodded, then shut the door behind you before getting in the car and taking off.

Chapter 1
Sarah Jenkins gathered her bags as she waited for friends to pick her up for the last camping trip of the summer before they headed back to school for their senior year. 
The Nissan Pathfinder Sarah’s bestie, Crimson James, was driving with a few of their friends, Torie Anderson and Molly James, Crimson’s little sister, who came along because Crimson’s mother insisted she come along, drove up in the Jenkins parking lot and honked the horn.
As Sarah picked up her bags, Mrs. Jenkins called after her daughter, “Be careful out there.  You know that tonight is the anniversary, don’t you?”
Sarah just nodded as she closed the door behind her and got into the Pathfinder as Crimson drove off toward the campsite, Camp Crystal Lake.
It would be the 30th anniversary of murders at Camp Crystal Lake…
