Writing Prompt: To Catch a Falling Star


You catch a falling star and put it in your pocket.


Prologue

It was an awesome sight to see…a falling star in space.  But even more exciting was when Rafe Gonzales, an astronaut who was on a space mission to the moon, caught the falling star in his hand.  As he remembered the song, Rafe put the star in his pocket for safe keeping.  He had always been a little quirky with superstition.

But, the next thing Rafe knew, he had woke up from what appeared to be a dream…and there was no star in his pocket.

In fact, he wasn’t even in an astronaut in space.  He was just a 15-year-old teenager studying to be an astronaut one day.
