The Scary Clown Club

Introduction
Ayden Grimes wants to start a club:  a scary clown club for Halloween.  But with the controversy on scary clowns, no one wants to join.  Will his club be successful or die out?
Chapter 1
Ayden Grimes loved clowns and wanted to start a new club:  a scary clown club.  But his hopes were dashed when he heard about the scary clown controversy online.  He recruited his friends and classmates to join, but none would agree to join.
Ayden was in class when his best friend, Rob nudged him on the shoulder.
“Pssst!  Ayden?” Rob whispered.
“What?” Ayden said as he turned around to see who was talking to him.
“What are you going as for Halloween?” Rob asked whispering.
“A scary clown, of course.”
“Ewwww!  You can do that!”
“Why not?” Ayden asked.
“Haven’t you heard about the scary clowns terrorizing people?”
“Yes.  But I don’t see why I can’t go as a scary clown?” Ayden said bitterly.
“You’re going to regret it!”
“I don’t care.  They don’t scare me.” Ayden defended.  “I’ll go as what I want and no scary clowns will deter from what I want!”
“Suit yourself, but you’ll be sorry!”
(Coming:  Ayden starts his Scary Clown Club despite ridicule from classmates.)
Chapter 2
Ayden only found one classmate to join his Scary Clown Club.  Teddy Williams, the geekiest kid in 7th grade.  Everyone made fun of him.  It was sad really because Ayden really like the kid.  Ayden was torn between being a friend to Teddy and being popular with his classmates.  Ayden decided that being popular wasn’t all that grand, so he befriended Teddy and together they made a clubhouse for the 2-person Scary Clown Club.
Ayden arrived at the clubhouse where he was supposed to meet Teddy and was shocked at what he saw:  the clubhouse burned to the ground.  Someone had set his clubhouse ablaze.
Rob Taylor happened by the clubhouse and taunted Ayden.
“I told you you’d regret starting your Scary Clown Club!”
“Did you do this?”
“No, who do you take me for?!”
“Funny how you just happen by my burnt-to-the-ground clubhouse!”
“Well, it’s just a coincidence!”
“Yeah, well it won’t stop me from forming my club!” Ayden told Rob.
“Yeah, those Scary Clowns may have they’re own say about your club!”
Rob left Ayden alone with his burnt clubhouse and joined his friends.
“So, does Ayden suspect what we did to his clubhouse?” Trevor asked Rob.
“No.  He’s clueless.  But he’s still bent on forming his Scary Clown Club.”
“What do we do?”
“We keep watch and prevent him from doing so!”
All of a sudden, the two boys ran for their lives as they were being chased by clowns in costume.  They ran as fast as they could, but the boys couldn’t run fast enough and the clowns caught up the two boys—and the clowns stabbed the two boys in the back, causing them to fall to their deaths.
 Chapter 3
Ayden was walking to school with his new best friend, Teddy, when they came upon something in the street:  it was his Trevor and Rob—dead!
Who could have done this? Ayden thought to himself, but Teddy, now scared, wanted to go back home where it was safe.
As Teddy ran home, Ayden decided to get to the bottom of who killed his classmates.  But that would have to wait when the cops showed up to investigate the crime scene for clues.
At school, Ayden joined his classmates in mourning the deaths of Rob and Trevor.  As much as he hated to think it, he was going to miss them.  Yeah, they caused him misery in his life, but now Ayden had to go  on in life without them.  How he wished he’d been a little bit nicer to them?
Carissa Lundy interrupted Ayden’s thoughts before homeroom/science class:
“Ayden, it’s sad, what happened to Rob and Trevor?”
“Yeah, it is.”
“But I’m glad they’re dead!” Carissa revealed.
“Carissa, that’s a cruel thing to say?”
“Well, sorry, but Rob and Trevor were nothing but bullies!”
“They may have been bullies, but they were still human.  They didn’t deserve to die!” Ayden lashed out at her insensitivity.
Carissa turned on her heels and left Ayden alone.  she didn’t need his insensitivity.
Ayden was fine with Carissa leaving him alone.  He didn’t need her drama.  He had two murder to solve.
It looked like his Scary Clown Club would be put on hold…for now….
