Premise

This flips the entire story on its head—instead of a predator losing control, we get something far more unsettling:

Two people who both think they’re the one in control.

And worse?

They might both be right.

Or neither of them is.

Let’s reframe the story so that Ronnie isn’t just reacting to Jamie…

She’s shaping him—subtly, quietly, maybe even unconsciously.

Originally:

  • Jamie studies, mirrors, and manipulates Ronnie.

Now:

  • Ronnie also mirrors.

  • Ronnie also adapts.

  • Ronnie may have recognized Jamie early… and leaned into it.

Not overtly. Not villainously.

But instinctively.
