Plot

A teen plans a pizza party for his 18th birthday—but he instead gets the surprise of his life.

Prologue

I decided to have a pizza party one night for my 18th birthday to celebrate becoming an adult.  I sent the invitations to classmates and my bestie!  But to my horror, everyone R.S.V.P.’d that they had other plans.

I was never a popular kid in school, and I expected that nobody would actually come.  I was always the bullied student. 

So, since no one wanted to come to my pizza party, I decided to just have a night alone…on my 18th birthday!  That’s how my 18th birthday would go?  Alone!  Just like my pathetic excuse for a life!

My 18th birthday arrived, and no one was the wiser.  I ordered tons of pizza.  I intended to pig out tonight!  It was a special night after all!  Who didn’t want a party on their 18th birthday?

Well, the pizza delivery brought all 10 boxes of assorted pizza.  I sat down to pig out…

And there was a knock on the front door…

Just when I was about to bite into a piece of pepperoni pizza!

Heading to the front door, I was about to open the door when 18 ghosts stopped me…one for each year of my life…

“What do you guys want?” I asked.

“We’re here to show you your life…each of us will show you your life for the last 18 years.” The first ghost told me.

“And how does this involve pizza?”

“You’ll find out.”

“So, instead of my classmates coming to this party…I get 18 ghosts?!”

“Well, sit right down and watch the movie of your life.” One ghost said as he got the film projector ready.
