Plot

 

In Spirit’s Rain, U.S.A., Seth Rainer, II, is the target of a hostile takeover by mob boss Jackson Levitt and a rival of Rainier Publishing. Spirit’s Rain General Hospital is a common scene due to shootings as well as amorous staff who can’t keep their hands to themselves.

Seth, II—Co-CEO of Rainier Publishing with his eldest son, Seth III, struggling to reign in his bickering children and a target of a hostile takeover by longtime rival, Jackson Levitt.

Camille—wife, who’s also having a secret affair with rival Jackson’s wife Marissa, a secret Camille’s keeping from Seth.

Seth, III—Co-CEO of Rainier Publishing, who has designs on the sole seat of his father’s publishing company.

Celestia—the ne’er-do-well daughter who is always trying to win her father’s approval, the black sheep of the family.

Arianna —the youngest daughter who has her own ambitions who works at Spirit’s Rain Hospital, despite her family’s desire to work in the family business.

Patricia--Seth, II's mother, always meddling in her son's life, reminding him of his father’s business acumen.

Seth, Sr.—aging patriarch of the family struggling with Alzheimer’s.

 

Levitt Family

 

Jackson—CEO of Levitt Bros., Inc., the hidden company behind Jackson’s mob business and longtime rival of Seth II.

Marissa—wife and secretly in an affair with rival Seth II’s wife, Camille.

Abigail (Abby)—eldest child of Jackson with designs of being groomed for the CEO seat of Levitt Bros., Inc., after brother, Terry goes missing.

Terrance (Terry)—middle child who goes missing, but later turns up alive.

Rhianna (Rhia) is a rebellious youngest daughter with her own ambitions.

 

Other Characters

 

Victor O'Malley—in cahoots with Jackson in his hostile takeover of Rainier Publishing.

Jeremiah (Jeremy) O'Malley—the love interest of Rhia, as the two star-crossed lovers struggle to see each other amid negative views from Rhia’s family.

Dr. Cody Wilson—Seth’s college buddy, Spirit Rain’s hunky doctor in a romantic love triangle with Arianna and Celestia.

RN Tamara Ridgeway—Head nurse at SRGH, with designs on Cody and actively trying to derail his romance with the Rainier sisters.
